Partners in food system change

As an LFP partner, you have committed to maintaining fare that’s fair, healthier communities and good food for tomorrow. We’d like to congratulate you on doing your part to support local sustainable food system change.

And, now that you have committed to sourcing Certified Local Sustainable products, here are some suggestions on how we can make our partnership stronger.

Stay in touch:
  • Tell us which farmers and processors you currently source from that you think we should certify
  • Tell us about events you’re hosting or participating in – we love to blog about foodie events!
  • On that note, follow our blog – we’re excited to feature upcoming events, trends, recipes and more
  • Follow us on twitter and facebook – that way you’ll catch when we mention you!

Promote our relationship:

  • You can find yourself listed on our website, are you returning the favour?
  • Talk about what LFP means on your menu
  • Let customers know when you’re sourcing Certified Local Sustainable products
  • Schedule a training session with us so your staff can become well versed in the language of Certified Local Sustainable

Go beyond your pledge:

  • You’ve committed to sourcing 10 – 25% of your food from Certified Local Sustainable producers. Can you do more?
