Join our Regional Associate Food Matters Manitoba for the 5th anniversary of their Growing Local Conference. This event is for anyone interested in food security in Manitoba, whether you are a community member, a farmer or from a non-profit organization.
The 3-day conference kicks off Thursday night with a presentation by Winona LaDuke: Food Sovereignty and the Green Economy: Challenges and Strategies for the Social Justice Movement. If you aren’t able to attend the entire conference, tickets for this event are $15.
Friday and Saturday have a large number of different sessions to attend. Highlights include:
