This two-day long conference is part of The Conference Board of Canada’s Centre for Food in Canada. The purpose is to bring together people from all different parts of Canada’s food system to discuss issues surrounding food safety, food security and food sustainability in our country.
In addition to speakers from across Canada, the conference will feature experts from around the globe, here to share their experience and knowledge.
The conference features morning and lunchtime plenaries (presenters include Galen Weston of Loblaws and author and columnist Mark Bittman), a plethora of sessions to choose from, networking opportunities with registrants from the public and private sectors as well as the non-profit world, a debate on local food, and an evening reception on February 7th.
